Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department

The Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department participates in all aspects of fire protection, rescue services in the community. It operates out of two stations, the Beltsville Station 31 and Calverton Station 41 covering an area of approximately 21 square miles with a population of about 23,500. Every year, both stations attend to over 4,778 Fire calls and 4,551 EMS calls.

The MLK school community can expect that my administrative team and I will keep our commitment to invest in our staff and minimize barriers to widespread school improvement. We will do this by building a positive culture where students are ACTIVELY engaged in connected learning experiences that will promote a love of learning and hopefully support them in identifying their passions. Our aim is to positively impact the lives of every child we serve, and with your support, transforming the way in which they engage with and see learning, their peers, their communities and ultimately their bright future.
