Working together with health care and research professionals, patients, and the community, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation raises funds to support breakthrough research, patient care and education programs at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (The Princess Margaret). The Princess Margaret is a recognized international leader in the fight against cancer and none of this would be possible without the generous support, commitment and dedication of donors and the community.

Situated in one of the most diverse communities in Canada, The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) delivers compassionate, patient-centred care at two hospital campuses (Birchmount and General) and six satellite sites. TSH is a regional centre for dialysis and hosts one of the largest Nephrology Programs in North America. It is also renowned for its mental health, paediatrics, chronic disease prevention and management, and cancer care programs. TSH was the first hospital in Ontario to establish home-like birthing units. With close to 5,000 deliveries each year, the Maternal Newborn and Child Care Program’s interprofessional team of experts has an excellent reputation for high-quality care for moms and babies in a culturally sensitive atmosphere. The hospital’s surgical programs exceed many performance targets on quality indicators and TSH is a leader in spine surgeries and Oxford knee replacements. Its plastic surgery team is one of only a few in Ontario to perform timely breast reconstruction using a specialized microsurgery technique.
