Sunflower House is a Child Advocacy Center serving children and families in Wyandotte and Johnson counties in Kansas. We provide specialized services for children who have experienced abuse and care and support for their families. Each year more than 500 children visit Sunflower House for a forensic interview to talk about what happened to them in a safe and welcoming place. We provide parents and caregivers with family advocacy services so they can support their child(ren) through this traumatic experience. We provide evidence-based mental health services for the child and their families. We educate more than 40,000 children and adults each year on how to recognize, respond, and report suspected child abuse.
