The Lamb Center

The Lamb Center

The Lamb Center’s mission is to live out the compassionate heart of Christ by serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We envision a community where everyone is known, cherished, and has a place to call home. For nearly 32 years, the Lamb Center (TLC) has served thousands of men, women, veterans, elderly, and those living with disabilities, who have struggled with chronic homelessness, unemployment, hunger, limited access to vital resources, and many barriers to self-sufficiency. During this time, the Lamb Center has continually sought solutions to alleviate the occurrence of homelessness in the local Fairfax area. We have walked alongside the most vulnerable in our community to aid them in overcoming barriers that stand to prevent them from achieving greater independence. The Lamb Center welcomes clients, whom we refer to as our "guests," six days a week to our daytime drop-in resource center. We are a low-barrier center, offering an array of basic services including meals, laundry service, hygiene items and showers, clothing, dental and nurse practitioner clinics (including vaccinations), a mailing address, recovery meetings, and other facilitated groups. Through strong community partnerships, the Lamb Center provides services to over 1,800 adults annually. The impact of TLC's services thrives on the outpouring of support of hundreds of generous and compassionate community partners.
