In 2014 BAPS Charities organized Walkathons throughout North America in support of a wide range of community, health, educational and humanitarian activities. These Walks provided inspiration for individuals to come together and build a better community, one step at a time.
Benefitting American Cancer Society, the BAPS Charities Walk in Warrington PA took place on May 4, 2014 In total, over 80 participants enthusiastically supported the event, walking a combined 105 miles.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were Hon. Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick, U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district and Ron Strouse, Hon Mayor of Doylestown, PA. Speaking on the occasion, Congressman Fitzpatrick said, “You are helping raise awareness for an excellent cause and I am excited and honored to be with you here today.”
