Opinions: “As we know, millions of people die each year from preventable deaths. Commonly, people only see doctors when an illness arises. BAPS Charities raises awareness regarding preventive medicine through activities such as health fairs and influenza vaccine drives where members of the community can be educated and screened for preventable diseases before it is too late,” Dr. Kiran Satashia, Dentist, Warrington, PA.
“BAPS Charities helps serve the community by organizing a wide array of activities from health fairs and influenza vaccine drives to blood donation drives and walkathons. Health fairs specifically provide medical care and consultation with doctors to participants who otherwise lack access to health care. The volunteers that help serve BAPS Charities offer selfless service and should be commended because their service cannot be measured by any one thing or number, but it can be seen by the impact they have on the whole world,” Dr. Hari Amin, Physician, Warrington.
