Benefitting University Community Hospital – Center for Cancer Care, the BAPS Charities Walk in Tampa, FL took place on September 21, 2008. In total, over 200 participants enthusiastically supported the event.

UCH has launched a new program – Breast Care Center. About 2 years ago, when a lady finds a lump in her breast, it took up to 60 days before they took any action about it. With this new program, patient will be seen within 24 hours whether they have insurance or not. Proceeds of today’s walk will help this program and I thank BAPS Charities for it.
