On July 14, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Harrison Township, MI. Nearly 200 community members participated, including Councilwoman Barbara A. Ziarko of Sterling Heights, Judge Sima Patel of the Michigan 2nd District Court of Appeals, Judge Douglas Shepherd of the 41A District Court, and Eric Shepherd. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
The walk provided an opportunity for participants to embrace a healthier lifestyle and highlighted the profound impact that collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
