In 2014 BAPS Charities organized Walkathons throughout North America in support of a wide range of community, health, educational and humanitarian activities. These Walks provided inspiration for individuals to come together and build a better community, one step at a time.
Benefitting The Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County and Robbinsville Education Foundation, the BAPS Charities Walk in Robbinsville, NJ took place on May 18, 2014. In total, over 400 participants enthusiastically supported the event, walking a combined 800 miles.
At the event, there was also a live demonstration by the Robbinsville Robotics Team which with the help of Walk funds donated last year, participated in the world Robotics championships and advanced to the semis finals, competing against teams from Canada, Israel, and Brazil.
