The 4th Annual Robbinsville St. Patrick’s Day Parade was held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Robbinsville Township. Over 26 BAPS Charities volunteers participated in this special day filled with community pride, music and fun. The parade kicked off with opening ceremonies in front of the Robbinsville Township offices in presence of dignitaries from the state, county and municipal levels, and parade spectators.
Marching units included Robbinsville High School, five area bagpipe bands, live music floats, and various community organizations.
After the parade, BAPS Charities was announced as the Best Civic Group. Dave Doran of the Robbinsville Irish Heritage Association presented the ‘Best Civic Group’ award at the BAPS Charities Walk on June 02, 2013. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “BAPS Charities in their effort to follow their credo of service to others, have offered their time and have participated in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade for several years. This year they won the Best Civic Group award and I am glad to present that award today.”
