On July 14th, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Orangeburg, SC, benefiting The Samaritan House. This year’s walk united nearly 120 community members who joined the effort to support The Samaritan House and their mission to provide temporary housing, outreach programs and transitional services to the homeless in Orangeburg, SC. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to engage in a healthier lifestyle and reminded them of the profound impact collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
