On June 2, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Nashville, TN, benefiting the Education Equal Opportunity Group (EEOG). This year’s walk united nearly 300 community members, including House Representative Susan Lynn (57th district), Chad Bobo, Joshua Rosales, and Council member Jeff Eslick (District 11). They all joined the effort to support EEOG’s mission to prepare low-income and first-generation high school students to become college and career-ready. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
George Thomas, CEO of EEOG, thanked BAPS Charities and all community members who participated and supported the walkathon.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to engage in a healthier lifestyle and highlighted the profound impact that collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
