On May 12, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Miami, FL. The Walk brought together local community members to support Best Foot Forward, which was founded in 2010 and is dedicated to building brighter futures for foster care and at-risk students in Palm Beach County through academic guidance, support, and more.
This year, nearly 450 community members joined the effort to support Best Foot Forward and its mission to encourage programs from kindergarten to college, giving young people the tools they need to become successful students and self-reliant adults. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
The event provided participants with an opportunity to live healthier lifestyles and reminded them of the profound impact collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
