In Western populations Acidity and Reflux disease affects approximately 20% of the population and 0.4% newly develop the condition. In order to bring about awareness on this topic, BAPS Charities hosted a health lecture on March 2, 2014 in Miami, FL. Dr. Kalpesh Patel, Gastroenterologist, presented the health lecture explaining the symptoms, aggravating factors, diagnosis and treatment of acidity and reflux disease.
