On June 1, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Collierville, TN, benefiting the Education Equal Opportunity Group (EEOG) and Leadership Collierville. This year, the event drew nearly 300 participants from the community, including prominent figures such as Senior Advisor to the Tennessee Governor John DeBerry, State Senator London Lamar, State Representatives Mark White and Jesse Chism, as well as Collierville Mayor Stan Joyner. These leaders joined the effort to support the missions of EEOG and Leadership Collierville, which focus on enhancing educational and leadership opportunities for youth and adults. The event attracted diverse participants, ranging from youth to seniors, all united by a common cause.
The event also served as an opportunity for participants to lead healthier lifestyles and highlighted the significant impact that collaborative efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
