BAPS Charities Walk Green 2019 in Los Angeles, CA is an event to raise funds for The Nature Conservancy, local beneficiaries listed below and other BAPS Charities activities. 

This year, BAPS Charities will support The Nature Conservancy’s efforts to plant one billion trees by 2025 through their Plant a Billion Trees initiative. Walk Green 2019 will help The Nature Conservancy plant 61,000 additional trees in 2019. During the last four years, from 2016 to 2019, BAPS Charities Walkathons will have helped plant a total of 361,000 trees.  

Join over 23,000 walkers in over 76 cities in North America and help us protect our environment – for our generation and for generations to come.

House of Ruth is dedicated to the safety and well-being of individuals victimized by domestic violence. They have been providing life-saving domestic violence services for residents of eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties since 1977. Participation in House of Ruth programming is open to all battered women, men, and their children. All of House of Ruth’s programs are free of charge. Services & Programs for domestic violence victims include emergency shelter, transitional living program, children's programs, child abuse treatment program, various community services, prevention education, and domestic violence counseling.

Chino Valley Fire District provides the highest level of fire protection and emergency medical response to the Chino Valley and unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County. The Chino Valley Fire District continues to make a positive impact on the communities we serve through our emergency response and various community programs that empower the community with the knowledge that can potentially save a life. CVFD began in 1895 as Chino Fire Company No. 1 and has since grown to include seven fire stations, housing over 100 professional firefighters. CVFD firefighter/paramedics pride themselves in providing a high level of customer service to the Chino Valley.
