On March 28, 2024, in the spirit of interfaith collaboration and service, BAPS Charities volunteers partnered with the Interfaith Youth Alliance, The Chino Mosque – Baitul Hameed, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Just Serve, and other local houses of worship for the Ramadan Iftar Package Women’s Service Project. BAPS Charities donated dates and nuts and joined other volunteers to assemble 294 care kits for frontline medical workers observing Ramadan.
Representatives from the Baitul Hameed Mosque – AMC Los Angeles expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are happy to work together toward the common goal of feeding the community.”
Jessica Moss, Executive Director of the Interfaith Youth Alliance, added, “Thank you, BAPS Charities, for supporting this great effort in the true spirit of interfaith love and partnership.”
The event brought together diverse faith-based organizations to promote unity and friendship across different backgrounds. BAPS Charities remains committed to fostering the spirit of service in communities worldwide.
