On June 8, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Lansdale, PA, to support the Hatfield Police Department. The Walk united community members in a collective effort to raise awareness for the Hatfield Township Police Department. This year, nearly 410 community members, including State Rep. Mr. Steve Malagari & Hatfield Township Commissioner Mr. Tom Zipfel, joined the effort to support the Hatfield Police Department and their mission to protect and serve the community with integrity and respect. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
Chief Tierney of the Hatfield Police Department was overwhelmed by the warm welcome and reflected on the event’s significance, saying, “He appreciates everything BAPS Charities does for the community and is looking forward to building strong relationships in the coming years.”
The event not only provided an opportunity for participants to engage in living a healthier lifestyle but also served as a reminder of the profound impact collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
