In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, which left a trail of fallen trees and storm debris, BAPS Charities stepped up to assist elderly residents in Sugar Land, TX, with cleanup efforts.
Many elderly residents and neighbors needed assistance moving storm debris to the curb for collection, and they greatly appreciated the help. BAPS Charities volunteers visited the homes of these elderly individuals to help clear away fallen trees and debris. Their work was essential in helping to clean up the area and foster community solidarity in a difficult time.
The Mayor of Sugar Land, Joe R. Zimmerman, expressed his gratitude for the volunteers, acknowledging their dedication and time spent helping fellow citizens. “We’re all in this together, Sugar Land,” stated the city’s website. Kunal Patel added, “The collaborative spirit and willingness to help each other out are what makes our community strong.”
