BAPS Charities mobilized its volunteers to donate 100 fleece blankets to Fort Bend County Health and Human Services in response to Winter Storm Enzo, which approached the Houston area on January 20, 2025. These blankets were used at the county’s warming shelters to provide comfort and warmth to those in need during the cold winter months.
“We were committed to serving our community and were proud to partner with Fort Bend County Health and Human Services to provide warmth and comfort to those in need,” said Dr. Maharshi Patel, a representative of BAPS Charities. “Our volunteers were dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others, and we were grateful for the opportunity to support our community during this time.”
With a long history of community service, BAPS Charities has organized health fairs, blood drives, and disaster relief efforts, remaining steadfast in its mission to assist those in need.
