Ayurveda is an ancient Indian approach to holistic healing emphasizing healthy living through: diet, lifestyle, yoga, breathing exercises, herbs, and cleansing. In recent years, nearly 40% of American adults report using some form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies as part of the overall health regiment. These therapies have grown in popularity due to their natural approach to healing and focus on prevention.
On October 18, 2015, BAPS Charities hosted a Health Awareness Lecture in Hartford, CT providing participants with an overview of ayurvedic benefits and practical approaches for integrating them into today’s busy and stressful lifestyles. In conjunction with the lecture, numerous ayurvedic products were also presented with an emphasis on the long-term health benefits of each. Mr. Dhiru Trambadia presented the lecture.
