BAPS Charities has always been engaged in promoting youth education with the goal of having students perform to the best of their abilities in school and continuously strive to fulfill their potential. Recently, BAPS Charities teamed up with The Princeton Review to further this goal. On January 5, 2014 students and parents attended these sessions in Hartford, CT. Similar events were organized in 17 different cities across North America benefiting over 1000 students.
The Princeton Review (TPR) is an American-based standardized test preparation and admissions consulting company that operates in over 40 states and 22 different countries across the globe. In association with The Princeton Review, BAPS Charities hosted information sessions with the title “Roadmap to College Admissions.” These workshops discussed factors involved in college applications, standardized testing, and a general timeline for this entire process.
In addition, an interactive question and answer portion was also held where students and parents were able to inquire about subjects that relate more to specific schools or tests. This information is invaluable as it enables students to plan for the future, and be in a better position to achieve their goals. The entire session was very well received by my son and he found it extremely helpful in navigating the college admissions process.
Through these sessions BAPS Charities hopes to foster a stronger interest in education amongst its youths and help them fulfill the objectives they set out for themselves.
