On Saturday, March 1, 2025, five BAPS Charities volunteers joined Councilmember Nick Richardson’s Neighborhood Blitz, a community clean-up under the Beautify Fresno initiative. Alongside nearly 80 volunteers, they helped collect nearly half a ton of garbage, making a visible impact on the neighborhood.
Beautify Fresno is a citywide effort to enhance cleanliness and environmental sustainability. The Neighborhood Blitz targets areas in need of immediate clean-up, addressing litter and neglected spaces. Through this effort, volunteers not only improved the local environment but also promoted community responsibility.
BAPS Charities remains committed to selfless service and sustainability, actively partnering with civic organizations to create a lasting impact. Volunteers found the experience rewarding and look forward to future opportunities to contribute to a cleaner, greener Fresno.
