Nearly 30 families and over 60 individuals took advantage of the Affordable Care Act – Awareness & Enrollment Drive on January 10, 2016 held in Edison, NJ. Organized and hosted by BAPS Charities, the second annual drive aimed to promote access to healthcare through facilitating insurance enrollments and re-enrollments for local community members.
As part of the event, enrollment specialists from the Department of Health and Human Services were on hand to provide attendees with personal guidance on understanding the entire enrollment process. Assistance was given on navigating the healthcare exchange websites as well as determining the best possible plan to individual needs.
