On June 15, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Clifton, NJ. This year’s walk united nearly 450 community members, including Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton, Passaic Chief of Police Thomas Adamo, Clifton Mayor Ray Grabowski, and the Paramus council team, which included Council President Robert Kaiser, Councilman Ace Antonio, Councilwoman Jeanne Weber, Councilman Jorge Quintan, Councilwoman Mary Ellen Rizzo, and Councilman Alfredo Nadera. They all joined the effort to support the Clifton Police Department and its mission, which is dedicated to protecting life and property and maintaining order with equal treatment for all. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to engage in a healthier lifestyle and served as a reminder of the profound impact collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
