Nearly 45 individuals took advantage of the Affordable Care Act – Awareness & Enrollment Drive on January 10, 2016 held in Charlotte, NC. Organized and hosted by BAPS Charities, the secondannual drive aimed to promote access to healthcare through facilitating insurance enrollmentsand re-enrollments for local community members.
As part of the event, enrollment specialists from the Department of Health and Human Serviceswere on hand to provide attendees with personal guidance on understanding the entireenrollment process. Assistance was given on navigating the healthcare exchange websites aswell as determining the best possible plan to individual needs.
