On June 15, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” event in Bloomington, IL, benefiting the Bloomington Public Library. This year, the event drew nearly 175 community members, ranging from youth to seniors, all dedicated to a shared cause. Rhonda Massie from the Bloomington Public Library highlighted the event’s impact, stating, “The funds will help provide a new book to each teen who completes the 2024 Summer Reading Program.”
The walk-run not only promoted healthier lifestyles among participants but also underscored the significant effects of collective efforts in meeting local needs and overcoming community challenges.
