On June 1, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Austin, TX, to support the Central Texas Food Bank. The Walk united community members in a collective effort to raise awareness for the fight against hunger in the community.
This year, nearly 350 community members, including City of Cedar Park Council member Anne Duffy, joined the effort to support the Central Texas Food Bank and their mission to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger. The event showcased a broad spectrum of participation, from youth to seniors, united for a common cause.
The event not only provided an opportunity for participants to engage in living a healthier lifestyle but also served as a reminder of the profound impact collective efforts can have in addressing local needs and challenges.
