The volunteers of BAPS Charities organized a food drive for following 4 Islamic orphanage for the month of Ramadan:
- New Life Orphanage
- Hidaya Orphanage
- Baytul Maqdis Islamic Dawa Center
- Al Furquan Islamic Center
In support of this drive, BAPS Charities raised and donated the following supplies to the orphanage along with gifts for the children:
ITEMS DONATED:
- 192 pkt Cornflakes
- 135 chocolate bars
- 160 pkt Biscuits
- 160 pkt pringles
- 160 dettol soap bars – 165gm
- 50 kg sugar
- 30 kg rice
- 10 kg salt
- 30 kg beans
- 20 liters of cooking oil
- 50 kg of maize flour
- 50kg of Wheat flour
- 1ctn spagetti
- 240 bottles Juice
- 240 bottles water
Additionally, volunteers of BAPS Charities organized a food drive for 6 Orphanages to join Muslim children in celebrating the Eid and marking the end of Ramadan. The centers benefited are as follows:
- Umra Orphanage Center
- Hidaya Orphanage
- Hisani Zetu Orphanage
- Salvation Army Matumaini
- Help2Kids Orphanage
- Buguruni School for the Deaf and Dumb
