Responding to floods brought on by heavy rains in the area in and around Dar es Salaam during the 2nd week of April, BAPS Charities donated 2000kg of food items and 150 food packages to the victims of the flooding. These food packages were sent to the Mbagala region in coordination with the government under Member of Parliament, Hon. Issa Ally Mangung and benefitted 150 families, providing them a full one month supply of food while recovery and rebuilding efforts continue. Food items donated to flood victims included Cooking Oil, Sugar, Beans, Wheat flour and Maize Flour in addition to the drinking water, bread/buns, crisps, cereals.
