On the 15th of April 2018 BAPS Charities hosted its quarterly blood drive in Johannesburg, South Africa. This was done in co-ordination with SANBS (South African National Blood Service) The National stock pile in South Africa is generally low, and BAPS Charities does its best in trying to support SANBS in ensuring that they have enough stock to cater for South Africa’s needs. The national stock pile on the day of the drive was sitting at 2.9 days.
In total, 27 pints of blood was donated. We thank everyone who took time out on the day to support us in this drive.
