BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Christchurch partnered with the District Health Board and Unichem Pharmacy to host a local pop up Covid-19 vaccination clinic. Operating on 21 August 2021 and 11 September 2021, this campaign allowed for over 475 vaccinations to be administered to the local community and provided a platform to provide Hindi and Gujarati language support.
The Vaccination team and District Health Board representatives commended the discipline and systems put in place to run the campaign. After the drive ended, they commented that “this was an extremely well organised event – not a single vaccine went to waste.”
