October is Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and 2023 has been a significant year for breast imaging. In honor of this, the Ladies Wing of BAPS Charities Nairobi Chapter, hosted a cancer awareness talk on 30th September 2023.
The talk concentrated on breast cancer awareness presented by Dr. Sajni Pabari from the Aga Khan University Hospital, and cervical cancer awareness presented by Dr. Kesha Parmar, a gynaecologist and infertility specialist. Both the presenters focused on early detection, diagnosis, and prevention. Dr Parmar also weighed in on the available vaccination’s females should get.
One of the attendees described the event as a success, very educational, and informative by saying “the attendees had the opportunity to ask any questions to the panel, and this active participation was valued. All information shared was strong and uplifting.”
BAPS Charities Nairobi was honoured to have these experts to share their knowledge, wisdom, care and passion with the guests.
