BAPS Charities in partnership with M.P. Shah Hospital and Lions Eye Hospital organised a free Medical Camp on Sunday 10th March 2019 to provide healthcare support and medical awareness to the community. The camp was held at the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple on Limuru Road, Nairobi.
More than 330 individuals from different communities benefited from this noble initiative. A team of over 40 doctors, volunteers and paramedical staff rendered their services at the camp. Patients went through Diabetes screening, Breast screening, Eye screening, and Doctors consultations.
Patients were also able to take advantage of subsidized eyeglasses and free eye medications as prescribed. Speaking on this important initiative, one BAPS Charities representative said, “We are committed towards the betterment of the Society we live in. We shall continue to organize and support such health and wellness initiatives every year.”
