On March 5th 2017, in a collaborative initiative to assist the famine situation in many areas within Kenya, BAPS Charities together with other organizations made donations to provide a helping hand to those in need.
The joint initiative will benefit more than 30,000 Kenyans in the most hard hit regions such as Maralal, Marsabit, Turkana, Garissa, Isiolo, Machakos and Kajiado.
The various groups collectively dispatched 16 trucks of famine relief food and animal feeds , with an additional 15 trucks planned to be dispatched to these areas.
