On March 15, 2024, BAPS Charities Nairobi hosted a health awareness seminar centred on promoting a nutritious diet, with a particular focus on the significance of protein. Dr. Kapil Kesari, a renowned figure in holistic health and a respected Yoga instructor at the High Commission of India to Kenya, served as the speaker for the event.
Participants were provided with practical insights on how to improve their dietary habits for overall health improvement. They also had the chance to ask specific questions during the session. The discussion underscored the importance of adequate daily protein consumption for a balanced diet. Attendees were advised to aim for a minimum intake of 1 gram of protein per 1 kilogram of body weight to maintain optimal health.
