On 27th April, the BAPS Charities Nairobi chapter visited Dream Children’s Home located in Upper Matasia, near Ngong Town. The orphanage with children from ages 6 months to 13 years old is run by Rachael. She started the Home 6 years ago with just 10 children. Which has now grown to a significant 110 children.
Urgently in need of help with food, clothes and educational material, BAPS Charities donated rice, oil, biscuits, clothes, flour, beans, sugar, and stationary in good quantities.
Rachael, the helpers and the children were very happy and were very welcoming. Whereby the children sang for the volunteers in merriment.
