On 4th December 2024 BAPS Charities Kenya, through its Nairobi Chapter Ladies Wing, visited Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital and donated essential supplies.
The donation included 696 packets of sanitary towels – comprising of a total of 8880 pads, 240 pieces of undergarments, 120 kilograms of uji (porridge flour), and 50 kilograms of rice, all intended to enhance the dignity and nutrition of patients.
The hospital’s Chairman, Dr. Julius Ogata, graciously accepted the donation and expressed deep gratitude, noting the significant impact on the lives of women receiving care. He emphasized that such contributions not only meet practical needs but also provide hope and reassurance to patients.
