The ladies wing of BAPS Charities visited the PCEA (Presbyterian Church Of East Africa) Thogoto Parish for elderly people on 3rd July 2024. This home serves as a place of residence for people who have no one to take care of them or have no place of residence. They currently house 50 members, which include 27 men and 23 women. The team was welcomed by Madame Jane who was grateful for their support.
The residents were delighted to receive generous donations of 50 blankets, 7 bales of ugali flour, 5 bales of Porridge, 25kg bag of rice, and 25kg bag of green grams from the BAPS Charities team. The residents and caretaker expressed their excitement of having some new faces around and showed them around their home.
