On Friday, 1st May 2020 BAPS Charities donated 500 food relief packs to Nairobi City County for further distribution to households in need within the county.
Mr. Charles Kerich – CEC Lands, Urban Planning, Housing & Mr. Justus Kathenge – Ag. County Secretary & Head of Public Service represented the county to collect the donation from BAPS Charities.
While receiving the donation Mr. Justus Kathenge said, “Nairobi City County is grateful for the donations received from BAPS Charities. These donations will ensure that the a few less fortunate members of the county who have been highly affected by this pandemic will have food to feed their families.”
“BAPS Charities has donated 500 food relief packs to Nairobi City County and have committed to supporting them with a further 500 relief packs in the coming weeks. Residing within Nairobi City County is our civic duty to support the County’s relief effort and we shall continue to do so in our best capacity”, Sameet Patel – Volunteer with BAPS Charities.
