On Friday, April 20, 2020 BAPS Charities received a donation from students of Braeburn Garden Estate International School to distribute food relief packs to Mathare North Slum.
BAPS Charities received donations from students of Braeburn Garden Estate International School to donated 74 food relief packs to a slum in Mathare North.
The students contributed to the donation through personal pocket money savings over the last many months. The donation was enough to feed 74 households for a period of 5-7 days.
“We are very proud and honoured to have received this donation from the students. It goes to show that they are empathetic to the current situation the country and world is facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The donation has been distributed with the assistance of Success Junior Academy, Mathare North to the needy families within the slums.” Sameet Patel – Volunteer with BAPS Charities.
