BAPS Charities took part in Stawisha Maisha, an exhibition showcasing organisations that are transforming lives and communities in Kenya. Held from 12th to 14th May, Stawisha Maisha was organised by the Asian Foundation to bring all Asian bodies under one platform. The primary aim was to recognize, acknowledge and showcase each organization’s philanthropic work for the less privileged members of our Kenyan society. There were a total of 47 organisations demonstrating their charitable activities.
BAPS Charities had an informative booth detailing the 5 main pillars of focus – Community Empowerment, Educational Services, Environmental Protection , Health & Wellness, and Humanitarian Relief. Volunteers welcomed visitors though interactive displays and walked them through the many activities carried out over the years in Kenya. The exhibition saw a large number of visitors grace the event over the three days.
