As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, organizations are working together to support those in need within their community. BAPS Charities volunteers in Cincinnati, Ohio reached out to the local Sharonville Police Department to offer their assistance. The Sharonville Community Fund, which provides support to individuals and families with day-to-day basic necessities, expressed their insufficient supply of infant and adult hygiene products. On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, BAPS Charities donated 2300 diapers, 48 baby wipe packets, 85 toothbrush/toothpaste packets, and 20 soap/shampoo bottles to the Sharonville Community Fund.
Kids of volunteers of BAPS Charities showed their immense gratefulness to those protecting the community on the frontline during this pandemic by writing ‘Thank You’ cards which were accepted by Sergeant Ryan Hermes on behalf of the Sharonville Police and Fire Department.
Having witnessed BAPS Charities’ continued efforts to address the needs of its community, Sergeant Ryan Hermes was humbled with gratitude and stated, “Thank you so much. The donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for thinking of us!”
BAPS Charities will continue looking for ways to support those in need as the COVID-19 pandemic sustains.
