With the COVID-19 health and economic crisis negatively impacting communities in the greater Cleveland area, many people are recuperating from the past two years of hard-hitting isolation and socio-economic challenges. Some of the hardest-hit members of the community are our front-line essential workers.
Recognizing the need to support these efforts and honor the front-line workers, BAPS Charities donated $5,000 to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Support our Staff Fund, a program designed to help front-line workers impacted by COVID-19 within the Cleveland Clinic Hospital System.
Dr. Neil Smith, President of Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, said, “We are extremely grateful for BAPS Charities to invest in our team members. We will surely make sure that this contribution is put to great work to help those most impacted in our organization” This donation will go directly into a fund to support hospital system employees who have personally been impacted by COVID-19.
