With the COVID-19 health and economic crisis negatively impacting communities in the greater Charlotte area, many people are recuperating from the hard-hitting isolation and socio-economic challenges from the past two years. Many families are experiencing financial hardships and are unable to pay for even basic necessities. A local non-profit organization, Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity, has been providing critical assistance to needy families in the Charlotte suburb of Matthews, NC in the form of meals and helping to pay for day-to-day essential expenses such as rent and utilities.
In recognition of their incredible efforts, BAPS Charities donated $4,000 to Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity.
