In response to challenges brought by the rise in COVID-19 cases attributed to the Omicron variant and colder weather, BAPS Charities donated $2,500 to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank on December 29, 2021, in Boston, MA.
Merrimack Valley Food Bank focuses on helping meet a person’s most profound need of adequate nutrition and freedom from hunger. Throughout Covid, the organization has done exceptional work in delivering food to those in need with specific dietary needs to thousands in Lowell and surrounding towns alleviating hunger and providing nutritious food to those in dire need.
