While the devastating impact on people’s lives and health due to COVID-19 has made 2021 a challenging year, the prolonged pandemic has also impacted many financially. In response to challenges brought by the rise in COVID-19 cases from the Omicron variant, BAPS Charities donated $2,500 to NJ Rise on December 20, 2021, to support needy families in central New Jersey.
NJ Rise operates various social programs in central New Jersey, such as a food pantry and clothing thrift store to assist needy local families and individuals in recovering from setbacks and achieving their full potential.
