BAPS Charities organized an indoor volleyball tournament in Scarborough, Ontario, on April 14, 2024. The competition was held to encourage youths to take part in a healthy activity while fostering teamwork and community spirit. 109 participants from various communities across the Greater Toronto Area attended the tournament. The whole day of
activity and team spirit ended with the presentation of awards. A trophy was presented to the winning team and prizes were also awarded to the best player and the team exhibiting exceptional unity. Everyone enjoyed the friendly competition and the opportunity to meet other youth from across the city.
The resounding success of this event not only celebrated the passion for volleyball among the youth but also encouraged young individuals leading busy lives to prioritize their well-being and engage in healthy activities. Moreover, the tournament served as a valuable networking opportunity for the participants, fostering connections and building relationships within the community.
In addition to sports tournaments, BAPS Charities also organizes an annual Walkathon to support local charities and an annual Youth Conference to assist youth with career planning.
