On July 1st, 2024, members of BAPS Charities met with Andrew Peach from WestCare to deliver high-quality winter blankets to help the homeless. This year, we proudly delivered an additional 50 blankets, following the 50 blankets donated last year, solidifying the strong and growing friendship between BAPS Charities and WestCare. Andrew expressed his immense gratitude for the donation, noting that the BAPS Charities supporters have a good understanding of the local community’s needs by providing such high-quality blankets.
Andrew highlighted that these blankets will support the most vulnerable individuals in programs such as WestCare’s Home Star program and Domestic Violence activities. The impact of these donations is significant, providing warmth and comfort to those who need it most during the harsh winter months.
Thanks to successful fundraising activities like the BAPS Charity Gala and the BAPS Walkathon, along with the unwavering support from the community, BAPS Charities can undertake such meaningful initiatives. These efforts provide immediate relief and foster a sense of community and solidarity.
