Compassionate Hands for the Disabled Foundation, founded by Ms. Ann Njeri in 2018 in Korogocho slum, supports 103 children with special needs, many of whom are orphaned or vulnerable. The centre aims to help these children overcome their disabilities and reach their potential.
On September 21, 2024, BAPS Charities’ Nairobi chapter donated items including 12 bales of sanitary towels, 25kg rice, 25kg beans, a bale of maize flour, and 240 water bottles. The foundation expressed gratitude for the support, noting the sanitary towels would greatly benefit the 25 girls living at the centre. The donation will aid in the foundation’s mission to improve these children’s lives.
